Internship for students
- INTERNSHIP TRAINEE’S ESSENTIALS GUIDE - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Guidelines for internships can be found in the internship regulations available on the department's website.
- The maximum daily practice norm is 8 hours, 40 hours per week.
- An entrepreneur may refer an apprentice/trainee on a business trip, provided that he/she covers the cost of the trip.</li>
- Occupational medical examinations - after receiving approval for an internship, contact the Enterprise to find out if medical examinations are required. The enterprise is required to indicate harmful factors. If it does not indicate them, it is equivalent to the fact that they are not required.
If the student/graduate performed occupational medicine tests at the time of admission, then he/she reports to the dean's office for a certificate (majors: architecture, interior design, construction, sustainable construction, chemical and process engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, environmental engineering, chemical technology, closed loop technologies).
Otherwise, referrals are issued by CPiK, before the internship begins. - Personal accident and liability insurance
Student for the duration of mandatory internships (according to the academic year schedule and regulations) is insured for accident insurance and third party liability. If the internship lasts longer than the stipulation in the regulations, then the student must insure himself for the remaining period of time on his own.
The insurance certificate will be available for download from the CPiK website at the end of June.

We would also like to remind you of the so-called “etiquette” for writing emails, namely:
- start the message with a polite opening such as: Dear Sir or Madam, etc.,
- brief explanation of what the message is about,
- closing, e.g., Sincerely, Best regards, etc.,
A lot of students have trouble with this ;)
